Security & Payments
Your browser will go to our secure server as soon as you click to go to the Green Monkey AV Checkout or to Login - so before you enter any personal or payment details. You can check that you are shopping in a secure environment by looking for either a locked padlock icon, or an image of a key in the grey bar at the bottom of your browser screen.
Being in 'secure mode' means that all of your details are encrypted to help keep them secure, so your card/personnal details cannot be viewed by anyone else using the Internet. If you are using one of the more recent browser versions, our site supports 128 bit encryption, therefore keeping your details as safe as possible at all times.
We recommend that you always close down your Internet browser when you have finished online, especially if you use a shared PC. This will delete temporary Internet cookies from any sites that you may have visited.
Credit & Debit Cards
- We accept Visa, Delta, Visa Electron, MasterCard, Switch, Solo and American Express as payment for orders.
- If you are paying for your order using a credit or debit card you will be asked to enter your card details as part of the ordering process, and you will find further instructions when you process your first order.
- We only accept credit or debit card orders that are placed using Secure Socket Layer (SSL). This technology prevents you from inadvertently revealing personal information using an insecure connection. During payment, we also ask for your card billing address, as an additional security check.
- No credit or debit card details are stored once your order has been processed. This is why you can save your favourite delivery address, but you need to enter your card details each time you order.
Cheques, Postal Orders
- If you'd like to pay by cheque or postal order select the "Pay by Cheque" option on the order form.
- Send cheques or postal orders to the address below for the total amount of your order (including delivery charge and VAT).
- Please make cheques payable to Green Monkey AV Ltd
- Remember to write your order reference clearly on the back of your cheque to help us process your order more efficiently.
- You will be notified by email, and your order will be processed once we have received and cleared payment. Please note; if we do not receive payment within 45 days, your order will be cancelled
- Currently we're only able to accept postal orders denominated in pounds sterling or cheques denominated in pounds sterling and drawn from a UK bank.
- Paying by cheque slows down your order as we don't send the items to you until your funds clear. If you're in the UK, paying by cheque typically delays your order by about seven days.
Local Authority Purchase Orders
- Local authority purchase orders can be emailed to sales@gmav.co.uk, faxed to:
0161 850 1708, or posted to the address below.
- Once we receive a purchase order we can process the order via invoice.

Shipping Costs & Delivery Times

We aim to despatch in-stock items ordered by 3pm, on that day, for delivery within 3 working days. Where orders have been placed after 3pm, they will be dispatched the following working day.
- Guaranteed Next Day Delivery £14.50 - Mainland UK
We aim to despatch in-stock items ordered by 3pm, on that day, for delivery the next day by 5.30pm Where orders have been placed after 3pm, they will be dispatched the following working day.
- Timed & Saturday Delivery - Price on application - Mainland UK
We can ship for a timed next day delivery (before 9.00am, 10.30am, Noon etc.) or for delivery on Saturday morning for an additional cost. Please email or call us on: 0845 862 9696 for a quotation.
- Palletised Deliveries
Some large items or large quantities will de dispatched on pallet delivery. 2-3 day pallet delivery is charged at the standard carriage rate. Next day pallet delivery where available, is charged at £80.00 per pallet. This is a door to door service, but provision needs to be made to take the items off the pallet and into the building. After delivery, the driver may take the pallet away if asked, but is not obliged to do so.
The driver will wait until you have inspected your goods. It is important you do this before signing, as claims cannot be made if it is signed for in good condition, and subsequently found to be damaged.

Returning Faulty & Unwanted Goods
At Green Monkey AV we endeavour to make shopping with us as pleasurable and easy as possible. However, we know you may occasionally need to return items.
1. Faulty goods Whilst we try our best to offer only top quality items, there may be occasions when the item you receive is faulty in some way.
Please contact us within 28 days to advise us of the problem. Keep all original packaging for the faulty item. With some projector screen faults, we may arrange for an engineer to call you to discuss the fault prior to arranging a collection. We will issue a RETURN AUTHORISATION NUMBER, which we will ask you to write clearly across the packaged item, and make the necessary arrangements for collection. Where possible (at our option) we will provide a replacement if available. Where goods have been delivered damaged, but there is no outward signs of damage to packaging, photographic evidence will need to be provided of both the board and the packaging.
2. Items damaged in transit *IMPORTANT INFORMATION REGARDING TRANSIT DAMAGE ON CARRIER-DELIVERED ITEMS* We ship our products with a signed for carrier on a 24-48 hour service. We do not deliver over the weekend.
If the carrier misses you he should leave a card through your door with details of how to contact the local delivering depot and rearrange delivery. If you fail to respond, the package will be returned to us and you will have to pay the carriage again. There are occasions when drivers fail to leave cards – so if you have not received your item within one or two days after the expected delivery date, please contact us so that we can chase it up for you.
Carriers will not entertain claims for damage when items have been signed for as 'RECEIVED IN GOOD CONDITION' as indicated by default on the delivery note. It is your responsibility to examine the package thoroughly and write 'DAMAGED' on the carrier's paperwork before signing if you feel there is any indication whatsoever that your package has been damaged in transit. We cannot help claim for damage by the courier if you have not signed ‘DAMAGED’.
Items sent by carrier are automatically insured. However, in order for this insurance to work it is necessary for us to register a claim within 48 hours of delivery of goods. This means that we need to know within 36 hours, preferably by telephone or email.
3. Unwanted goods We will accept the return of unwanted items with the exception of LCD TV's, Plasma Screens and Rear Projection Interactive Boards, and Whiteboard Wall Covering products. Other items returned because they are unwanted (not damaged or faulty) are subject to the following conditions: • Goods are unused • Goods are re-packed securely in original packaging. • Goods are returned within 30 days of delivery • Data Projectors must be returned within 7 days • LCD TVs, Plasma Screens, Rear Projection Interactive boards and Whiteboard wall covering and Mighty Brighty products are non-returnable.
Items that are returned to us because they are unwanted (not damaged or faulty) are subject to a handling charge of 15% of the sale price, plus the cost of carriage both ways. There will be an additional charge for re-boxing if original packaging is not in a suitable condition for re-stocking.
All returns must be accompanied with a returns authorisation number supplied by us. The RA number needs to be visible on the box, but please do not write directly onto the box. A re-boxing fee will be charged if there is any damage to the packaging.
All products should be well packaged in the original packaging, if there is any damage caused in transit; we cannot take responsibility for this and cannot credit the item.
Once the item has been received, and checked over, you will be refunded less the restocking fee and courier costs. (Subject to conditions above).
4. Cancellation of Orders
Standard stock items may be cancelled prior to despatch at no extra charge if confirmed in writing. If the item has already been dispatched, the item may be cancelled, however a charge will be levied of 15% of the sale price, plus the cost of delivery.
5. Special orders
Any orders for non-stock, custom built items or ‘specials’ will be treated as separate orders and be subject to a carriage charge if appropriate. Specials and non-stock products cannot be returned for credit, unless agreed in writing by the Customer Services Supervisor.
Terms & Conditions of Sale
