Widescreen Electric Floor Screen 2.0m Wide

The Sapphire Electric Floor screen is a high quality impressive projector screen with a difference! Incredibly easy operation; you press a button and it rises majestically from the casing.

The screen is housed in an attractive and stylish black aluminium casing with a smart powder coated surface. The screen can be used as a stand alone screen or if you want to hide the casing, the screen can be built into furniture or a wall, so that the screen fabric extend upwards when needed. A very useful feature if you cannot install from the ceiling.

The remote control uses Infra Red technology to lift and retract the screen (IR38). The screen comes supplied with a remote control, and an I-R extender kit. The standard IEEC lead and 3 pin plug comes from the left hand corner of the casing. The Infra red reciever is built into the casing at the bottom left hand corner. The screen has a very strong mechanism at the rear to ensure many years of service, and the tubular motor is quiet and precise.

The screen fabric encorporates Micro bead technology to eliminate creases and ripples, whilst the excellent 1.2 gain produces deep vibrant colours with excellent contrast. The black borders also add contrast to improve image quality.

This screen is Widescreen (16:9) aspect ratio, which is best suited for Home Cinema viewing. Widescreen is the image shape used by most modern LCD or Plasma TVs. Most data-video projectors can be switched to widescreen (16:9) mode in their operating menus. Dedicated home cinema/theatre projectors have a 16:9 ratio at the heart of their optical system, and this aspect ratio is designed to provide a perfectly matched projection surface for widescreen image viewing.
