Sapphire electric screens are made to the very highest standard and will give unrivalled service for many years. The Sapphire Tab Tensioned Electric 16:9 (Widescreen) projector screen is the ultimate Screen for the real professional home cinema enthusiast.

This screen has a 16:9 (widescreen) aspect ratio. They are best suited for Home Cinema viewing. 16:9 format also known as "widescreen" is the image shape used by most modern LCD or Plasma TVs. Most data-video projectors can be switched to 16:9 or widescreen mode in their operating menus. Dedicated home cinema/theatre projectors have a 16:9 ratio at the heart of their optical system, and this screen is a perfect partner for these as it is designed to provide a perfectly matched projection surface for widescreen image viewing.

With the tab tensioning system this screen in absolutely flat which avoids curling around the vertical outer edges of the screen. The screen fabric has a 1.1 gain, and is designed to give you vibrant colour reproduction. Black borders add contrast to improve the image quality, and the high black border at the top of the screen lowers the viewing area helping to achieve the perfect viewing height for home cinema viewing. If the top black border is not required the screen locks at every desired viewing height for increased versatility. This screen is also black backed; so that the screen can be mounted to drop in front of a window should you require this.

The screen somes supplied with channel Fix brackets which allow for easy installation. The brackets are mounted on the wall; the screen then simply clips onto the installation, and is even adjustable left to right to allow flexibility.

Sapphire Tab Tensioned screens come with an inline switch with a lead terminating in a standard three pin plug. The screen can be operated by means of the supplied remote control or a button on the inline box, or can be integrated with an Ir control system or learning remote. It uses IR 38 frequency to operate.

The power lead comes out of the rear left of the screen when viewed from the front. This can be taken across the screen behind the brackets should you need power from the other side of the room. The screen also comes supplied with a remote control extender which has a built in sensor to receive the remote control device should you wish to mount the screen out of sight, for example into a recess.
