The bright 2800 Lumens Optoma EW536 projector, with 120Hz 3D capable technology is ideally partnered with a widescreen notebook and HD sources. Ceiling mounted or mobile this dual-purpose projector multi-tasks in both office, school and home environments. Environmentally friendly design with energy saving features including less than 1W standby mode. Long lamp-life of 4000hrs saves you both time and money, combined with the unique Optoma colour and imager guarantee ensures hassle-free, long lasting projection.

Using the inherent speed of DLP technology, The Optoma EW536 can output video and images at an astonishing rate of 120Hz, allowing you to show full screen, full colour, stereoscopic 3D. The 3D effect is generated by splitting this signal into two standard video streams, one for each eye.Using DLP® Link™ technology, the 3D glasses synchronise with the image on screen to filter each stream to the correct eye. Your brain then combines the two streams to make them jump into life.  The EW536 can only be used with compatible 3D PC based content. Typical applications may include 3D educational software or 3D design and modelling software. Currently the EW536 can not be used with 3D TV broadcast systems or 3D Bluray. The EW536 may support these applications in the future but will require additional hardware at extra cost.

The Optoma EW536 projector is the perfect companion for widescreen laptops. Your presentations will appear as sharp and detailed as they do on your widescreen laptop in WXGA (1280 x 800). WXGA resolution gives 30% more pixels than XGA.
