Terms and Conditions

1. Pricing
All prices shown on this website and in company literature are exclusive of UK VAT, which will be charged at the prevailing rate. All prices may be subject to change without notice and are set at the time of placing the order.

2. Delivery
Green Monkey AV Ltd offers a next day delivery service at an additional charge provided that the order is received by 15:00 hours.  Please note that in the event that payment has not been made in accordance with the agreed payment terms or if orders exceed our recommended credit limits then delivery may be delayed.
The company will take all reasonable steps to deliver the goods within the stated period but shall not incur any liability whatsoever due to any consequences of delayed delivery or carrier damage. Green Monkey does not guarantee to get delivery on site to meet installers and will accept no liabilities arising from delayed delivery or product damage consequently delaying installation.

3. Non-Stock
Any orders for non-stock items or ‘specials’ will be treated as separate orders and be subject to a carriage charge if appropriate.  Specials and non-stock products cannot be returned for credit, unless agreed in writing by the Customer Services Supervisor.

4. Damages/Product Faults
All damages should be reported within 24 hours of delivery. A description of any damage must be made on the consignment note before signing otherwise claims cannot be entertained. For full returns policy, please see our HELP PAGE

5. Goods Returned
Standard stock items, (with the exception of LCD TV’s, Plasma Screens & Whiteboard wall covering), may be returned subject to the following conditions:
I.   Goods are unused.
II.  Goods are re-packed securely in original packaging.
III. Goods are returned within 30 days of invoice date.
IV. Goods must be returned in accordance with our standard authorisation procedure. A handling charge of 15% of the invoiced value plus the cost of carriage both ways will be levied.  There will be an additional charge for re-boxing if original packaging is not in a suitable condition for re-stocking. (Please see help page or contact the Customer Services Supervisor on 0845 862 9696 for details).
V.  Data projectors must be returned within 7 days.
VI. LCD TV’s and Plasma Screens and Whiteboard Wall Covering and Mighty Brighty products are Non-Returnable.

6. Product Warranty
All products other than consumables are guaranteed against faulty workmanship for a minimum of 12 months from the date of purchase, longer where stated on the website and in the Audio Visual catalogue. The product warranty offered is return to base manufacturer's warranty.  If goods do not conform to the stated warranty Green Monkey AV Ltd will, at its option:
I.   Take such steps as Green Monkey AV Ltd deems necessary to bring goods into a state where they are free from such defects.
II.  Replace goods not found to conform to the warranty
III. Take back the goods found not to conform to the warranty and refund the appropriate part of the purchase price.
IV. Products, up to 28 days from date of invoice, which are reported as faulty, will be replaced, and Green Monkey AV Ltd will arrange collection.
V.  Products over 28 days from date of invoice (with the exception of Data Projectors, LCD TV’s and Plasma Screens – please see point 7 below), may be returned to base by the customer, for inspection/repair, prior to a replacement product being dispatched. We understand some products are large items so we can, at our discretion, arrange collection for you. (Typical collection fee is £25 & vat but this is dependent on location and product size. Please call us for a quotation). 
VI. Returns will be examined by an engineer and providing the fault is deemed to be a manufacturing fault not user misuse, the fault reported will be repaired under warranty and sent back to you at our cost.  Should the fault found be due to user misuse the repair may be chargeable.
VII. Please also note products must have sufficient packaging and be extremely well protected when being transported back to us as we will not cover any damaged due to inadequate packaging.

7. LCD TV’s, Plasma Screens & Data Projectors.
Any product over 30 days from date of invoice are subject to either exchange warranty or repair on-site, for the duration of that products warranty, as deemed necessary by Green Monkey AV Ltd.
Any LCD TV or Plasma screen found to be in good working order when returned to base – carriage will be charged at cost to the customer.

8. Cancellation of Orders
Standard stock items may be cancelled prior to despatch at no extra charge if confirmed in writing. After items have been despatched they cannot be cancelled, but an unwanted return can be arranged. (Please see point 5 for details).
Non-stock items and ‘specials’ may only be cancelled by arrangement and costs incurred will be levied.

9. Subsequential Loss
Green Monkey AV shall not be liable for any penalty, loss, injury, damage or expense arising from any delay, or failure in delivery, or performance from any cause at all, nor shall any such delay or failure entitle the Customer to refuse to accept any delivery or performance of or repudiate the Contract.

10. Quotations
All ‘specials’ quotations given are Nett prices and are only valid if confirmed in writing for the period specified. Quotations are valid for 30 days.

11. Product Specification
Due to our policy of continuous product development, we reserve the right to change product specifications without prior notice and will not accept any subsequent liability as a result.

12. Payment
I.  Our standard terms of payment are payment up front.
II.  Where payment on invoice has been agreed, our terms are 30 days from date of invoice.
III. All payments should be made in the currency stated on the invoice in accordance with our agreed terms.
IV. If in default Green Monkey AV Ltd reserves the right to charge interest on overdue accounts at a rate of 2½% per month or part thereof.
V.  Green Monkey AV Ltd reserves the right to withhold despatch of orders if the account is in arrears. Overdue accounts will be passed onto our third party debt collection agency after two written requests for payment.

13. Ownership of Goods/Retention of Title
I.  The goods shall remain the property of Green Monkey AV Ltd until paid for in full by the buyer.
II.  Should payment of the amount owing under Contract not be made when due, Green Monkey AV Ltd reserves the right to remove and repossess the goods (and for that purpose shall be entitled to enter upon premises occupied by the buyer) in addition to exercising such other rights or remedies as may be conferred by law.
14. Law and Jurisdiction
The Laws of England shall govern the validity, construction and performance of the Contract and these Conditions and each of the parties hereby agree to submit to the jurisdiction of the English Courts.
All orders are accepted subject to the above conditions.
